1 -Evaluation - When you call us, we will dispatch our flooring specialists to inspect your space. We listen to your requirements and decide on the best type of surface to match your space. We then plan the job according to your time and budget.
2 -Preparation - Preparing the floor prior to applying the proxy is key to a long lasting finish. Proper preparation will allow a strong bond and avoid peeling or lifting. We utilize an industrial diamond grinder to smooth out the surface. We then thoroughly vacuum the resulting concrete dust and repair any visible patches or cracks.
This method will remove any residue such as oil stains and makes the concrete surface porous to allow a superior chemical bond.
3-Priming - We then add a primer coat to ensure proper adhesion of the epoxy to the substrate.
4-Applying the Proxy - After priming is completed, we lay the body coat which is 100% solid proxy. Final adjustments to the temperature, humidity and other environmental factors are made before applying the proxy. This ensures the final coat will adhere strongly and the resulting proxy coating will be extremely durable. It also prevents costly fixes later on.
5-Sealer - The floor is then finished off with a chemical resistant epoxy or polyaspartic top coat. You can then enjoy your new flooring for years to come.
